Kenna Wong is a Hawaiian-born director and production designer taking his experience from the slam poetry world and infusing it into music. Currently based out of, New York, Wong began a collaboration during quarantine with soulful psych rocker, Alec Gaston, who produced his debut EP, “Ghosts on The Beach.”
Following suit, Wong has taken his affinity for the spoken word and collaged it over surf-rock, trap, jungle, and soul to deliver a work of art that resembles something more like the act of surfing; constantly adapting to the ever-changing forms and swells of the ocean. Blending into each record no matter the height or speed, Wong walks (or slides) over each soundscape without ever losing his footing.
